PERIOD: PERMANENT
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
1. Recruitment & Selection • Administering and maintaining records of recruitment and selection activities such as: • Drafting of job specifications and advertisements • Advertising of positions internally and externally • Shortlisting of candidates • Scheduling of interviews for Line Managers and preparing of interview guides • Forming part of the interviewing panel • Conducting references and background checks • Drafting of Offer Letters and/or employment contracts for successful applicants • Sending letters of regret to unsuccessful applicants Coordinating and processing employee benefit programs • Ensuring that workstations (PC’s, laptops, telephone, email etc.) are ready for new employees • Introduce new employees to the State Theatre. • Ensure new employees have prepared the necessary paperwork. • Loading employees on the system • Opening personnel files for new employees
- Administer terminations and related activities • Ensure accurate leave records for each employee. • Upload Leave on the system where necessary. • Monitor and report leave anomalies.

PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• National Diploma in Human Resources or Equivalent • Minimum of two years’ experience in recruitment • Sage 300 experience advantageous
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CRITICAL COMPETENCIES
• Knowledge of BCEA, EEA, SDA, LRA and other HR Legislation. • Good Communication (Verbal and written) • People Skills • Presentation Skills • Microsoft Office Skills (Advanced word,excel,powerpoint) • Deadline Orientated
